Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GABY Collection Pty Ltd (ABN 82 680 232 400) — trading asGaby Mechanical, at Unit 5/2 Villiers Dr, Currumbin Waters QLD 4223 — handles personal information collected through this website, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you submit the contact or booking form we collect what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, message, and — for bookings — details about your vehicle (make, model, year, registration) and preferred times. If you make the top five on our hidden runner game and choose to submit your score, we store the display name you enter and your score, and show them publicly on the game's leaderboard. We don't collect anything you don't give us.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to you: answering your enquiry, confirming your booking request by phone, and carrying out the work you've asked about. We don't sell personal information, use it for third-party marketing, or add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored securely in a database operated by Cloudflare (our website infrastructure provider) and delivered to our workshop email inbox via Resend (an email delivery provider). Both providers may process data on servers outside Australia. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile checks technical signals from your browser to tell humans from bots; it does not show puzzles and is designed to be privacy-preserving.
Cookies & analytics
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we adopt an analytics tool, we'll use a privacy-respecting configuration and update this policy to describe exactly what it measures.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking records are kept for as long as needed for the work and reasonable business record-keeping, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email office@gabymechanical.com.au or call 0422 639 311 and we'll sort it out. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
