Questions we get
All-terrain or mud-terrain — what should I run?
If your off-road time is beach runs and gravel, a quality AT gives you 90% of the capability with far better road manners, noise and wear. MTs earn their keep in genuine mud and rock. Be honest about the ratio and you'll buy once, happily.
When do tyres legally need replacing?
The legal minimum is 1.5mm of tread across the face — but wet-weather grip falls away well before that. We flag tyres from about 3mm so you can plan for it rather than get caught.
Can you order a specific tyre in?
Almost always, and usually within a day or two. Tell us the size and the driving you do — we'll quote a couple of options at different price points.
Which areas do you provide tyres for?
The workshop is at Currumbin Waters, and we're the local choice for tyres across Currumbin, Currumbin Waters, Currumbin Valley and Palm Beach — and right along the southern Gold Coast. If you can get the vehicle to us, we'll look after it.
Do you have a courtesy car?
Ask when you book — what we can offer depends on the day's workload, and we'll always be straight about it. Most smaller jobs are drop-off-in-the-morning, back-by-afternoon anyway.
Can I wait on site while it's done?
Honestly, there's not much waiting room in a busy workshop — but Bread Social is metres away and the cinnamon scrolls are to die for (trust us). Drop the car, grab a coffee, and we'll call the moment it's ready.
